This is my electricity bill is too high? meter reading problems.?

Hello, I live in Las Vegas, and when I moved on 2 December my electricity bill came to 22, and the project was only $ 32.57, but today I received the electricity bill is 232.59 and why such a difference? I clled the electric company, but they said the counter works correctly, it fails when it stops. I used the same amount of light than the previous month, no change at all, and the heater running at once, and ran at 68 degrees. The lady of the company said it may have made an adjustment last bill (WTF?) or maybe something like the water heater is not working properly which could be draining more power. My wife lost her job if we can not afford these projects high with only law that I work, but the electric company may matter less to help, ca I do, what is the problem?
